Joan Miro at Tate Modern

Went to the Miro exhibition at Tate Modern yesterday.

It's all amazing, but for me the intricate 1940's stuff was the most interesting, for example "Women encircled by the flight of a bird".

I was as impressed as most people by the triptychs, but it was the size rather than the image that created that impression.

It occurs to me that any image blown up to 3.5 metres by 3 metres would impress.
