Moving Wallpaper (video) - geometry, dance?

[modified 26th February]

The geometric images that are the basis of this video are simple enough. They are straight bands of black and white placed vertically, horizontally and diagonally.

But the bands move. The vertical bands move to the left, the horizontal bands to the bottom and the diagonal bands to the upper right. And they occlude each other to give, initially, a stepped-checkerboard effect.

Then a sinusoidal pulse imposes itself. The pulse is timed to match the cycle of movements of the bands.

Finally, the whole thing is synchronised to the piano/drums accompaniment.

It's a dance. Where the dancers are geometric shapes.
